ASP is a leading company providing handheld and autonomous photonics-based solutions. One of the main products that have been developed in ASP is a laser cleaning/ablation system (LCS). ASP is considered one of the first companies to produce handheld and portable LCS. In ASP, currently, high-power LCSs such as 200-watt, 500-watt and 1000-watt are being built. R&D is also working to automate this process using industrial robotics. Talented mind from different disciplines (Electrical, electronics, mechanical, photonics, metallurgical, Software developers) is welcome to join the ASP team to participate and play a significant role in developing such industry-oriented and cutting-edge technology.

Main tasks and duties overview: Electrical / Electronics Engineer

l  Participating in product improvement of our laser cleaning system product line to improve its electrical design to meet or exceed the CSA, CE, UL standard. 

l  Elaborate the testing procedure of the integrity of the final quality control of laser product electrical circuit.

l  Work closely with the salesperson to understand the application of the customer and propose different approaches. 

l  Participate in customer design review 

l  Executing electrical/electronics schematic drawing and designs using proper CAD (Proteus, SEE electrical, SkyCad..others). 

l  Coordinate with external fabrication shops for the best price and lead time.  

l  Do laser assembly when there is a rush. 

l  Entering project progress into our ERP/MRP system 

l  Travelling to customer site for installation and evaluation of the feasibility 

l  Be willing to manipulate lasers and optics

l  Lead different project planning and create work-breakdown structures.  

l  Willing to travel up to 5% of his time, if needed.

Education:

Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or related discipline with proper experience. 

Qualifications: 

l  +2 Experience in electrical/electronics circuit designs and installation. 

l  Experience with electrical CAD: such as SEE electrical, SkyCad and electronics CAD designs; such as Proteus. 

l  Aware of electrical/others standards CSA, CE, UL 

l  Electrical and Electronics Assembly experience. 

 

l  Soldering experience  

l  Trouble shooting experience.   

l  Excellent problem-solving ability with attention to detail. 

l  Ability to document technical information clearly. 

l  Good verbal and writing communication

l  Team spirit.
